Goa Open Arts Festival 2024 Promises an Inspirational and Thought-Provoking Experience

Goa, India - The eagerly awaited Goa Open Arts Festival 2024 is scheduled to take place from the 23rd to the 28th of February 2024. Returning after a hiatus of three years, the festival aims to offer a fresh perspective on Goa, moving beyond its renowned party scene to showcase the state's serene and poetic essence through the lenses of talented photographers and the hands of skilled artists.

This year, the festival presents multiple themes and showcases. A central theme revolves around gender and gender-based norms. The event will feature photography exhibits, the Goa Artists Collective Show, narratives from Goa and its history, collaborative art projects with children and youth, film screenings showcasing globally recognized and award-winning films, filmmaker interactions, an exclusive Film Masterclass, and soul-stirring original music performances. The musical lineup includes ten diverse acts spanning singer-songwriters, rock musicians, electronic maestros, and a captivating Sufi-inspired performance.

Also in a unique collaboration, Goa Open Arts and primary supporter IFB Appliances have joined forces to support art for a cause. Renowned artists have painted IFB washing machines and AC units, which will be auctioned to support The Owl House, a Goa-based charity that assists neurodiverse individuals with skilling and job opportunities.
