In a video shared by RCB, Virat Kohli was seen pulling Mohammed Siraj's leg for a comment the latter made.
Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) dressing room was in a fun mood after the team secured a thumping victory against Delhi Capitals (DC) in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 on Sunday. The 47-run victory didn't just give RCB the valuable 2 points but also gave their Net Run Rate a positive boost in the hunt for a top 4 spot. As a result, the atmosphere in the dressing room was truly jubilant, with jokes being cracked by players on their teammates. Banter Virat Kohli and Mohammed Siraj also joined was arguably the highlight of the dressing room scenes.
In a video shared by RCB on social media, Kohli and Siraj were engaged in a fun conversation, with RCB spinner Karn Sharma also getting involved. Here's how the conversation went:
Siraj: What a comeback! We only wanted to take it one game at a time. Qualification or the playoffs is not in our control. What is in our control is, fast bowlers have the balls, batters have the bat. All we have to do is attack. If we qualify, it's very good. But we just want to continue playing this brand of cricket.
Kohli: (laughs) He is saying batter has a bat and bowler has a ball
Siraj: The mindset is to take wickets, right?
Kohli: (laughs) Alag cricket chal rahi hai (he is playing different cricket). Just say, "All I can see are stumps"
Siraj: Siuuuuuu...

Though RCB's playoffs qualification hopes have been given a big boost, the situation still isn't completely in their hands. RCB don't just need to beat CSK in their final league match of the season but also hope for a few other results to fall in their favour.
